TIME TO PRAY

A key part of a Workers day is meeting with the rest of the team at 8:00am to hear about assigned roles for the day, check rotas and to pray together.

Our Workers Coordinator will explain the programme for the day, and make sure everyone knows where they need to be and what they need to do!

ACTIVITIES

TIME TO WORK

Workers are allocated to roles and teams throughout the day.

Each morning there is a site clean up - this involves checking bins, bathrooms and making sure the venue is being looked after.

A catering team works in the kitchen to keep camp fed and watered! They prepare packed lunches for those going offsite, lunch for those onsite, and dinner for the camp. They will work closely with the Catering Manager who will ensure everyone knows what they are to be doing!

In the morning and afternoon there are different activities that take place. One day you might be supervising a football game, and the next day escorting campers to an offsite location. If you are eligible to drive a minibus, you might find yourself driving an Arura taxi!

EVENING CELEBRATION

TIME TO ENJOY

Workers don’t have to work all the time… there is free time too! The GAP is our on-site cafe where you can relax or meet up with others during downtime. It’s also the place to go for coffee!

In the evening everyone at camp joins together for the Evening Celebration for a time of praise and a message from God’s Word.

SITE SECURITY

TIME TO SLEEP

Most workers will take the opportunity to go to bed when they get the chance!

We also will have a security rota for night times. This is a special responsibility for locking up and ensuring we are all safe in the school. Due to the unsociable hours of this role, we try not to give them any morning tasks the next day!
